Interfaith Families
Interfaith Families are Welcome at Temple Sinai!
Temple Sinai holds the mitzvah (religious obligation) of keiruv (drawing people close) among the most important in our tradition. We actively welcome interfaith families into our community and we encourage their participation in synagogue life. Temple Sinai is honored to count many interfaith couples and families among our “Family of Families.”
Interfaith families at Temple Sinai gather regularly to talk about our lives, learn Jewish traditions, compare how we celebrate holidays and handle issues unique to our situations. We gather in the afternoons or evenings, sometimes in people’s homes and other times at Temple. We support each other in times of need and difficulty as well.
